Compulsory Federal small buisness registration

Given that in at least some states that has to be reported anyway, and there are more and more places where actual natural persons owning real estate has to be reported, I'm not sure how much this matters. Well, there maybe some database people are supposed to go fill in. Note that they say "business" and then exclude "dormant companies".

Trump is completely against this, as it requires transparency of Shell Corporations, of which he owns hundreds. So McConnell will be fighting it even coming up for a vote in the Senate. Dont hold your breath on this happening. The big money boys are all against it, it is extremely unlikely to even get a Senate vote unless the Dems win Georgia.

LOL - there's more Ries - even if the Dems win both seats in Georgia, they are tied. OK, Harris would be the tie breaker. But that's been rarely used in history, and it raises complicated (as in SCOTUS gets to answer) questions about who can bring what to the floor when. And of course at 50/50 it only takes 1 senator breaking ranks to swing the vote to the other party.

A VP breaking a tie vote has happened OFTEN, recent years. Mike Pence has done it 13 times in a single 4-year term "so far..". What with Romney "sometimes" voting with Dems, Manchin "sometimes" voting with Rips, Kommie-Lay will probably have to double that figure, whichever way Georgia goes.

The votes didn't USED to go purely on party line, so it wasn't just about a built-in tie in the Senate. Average has run at just a tad over one a year for most US history.

The only real "winners" in the Georgia mess will be the adverhooring firms all that campaign money is being paid-out to, and the lawsters who will be filing suits over yet-another brazen theft or attempted theft.
