Hi all,
We are planning to add Matsuura MX330 PC10 to our shop and I got permission from the owner to spend Canadian $20000 on tooling. It could be Zero Point System from Lang (we already have some) or Tool Presetter and Shrink Fit Machine.
The machine we are going to purchase will be 13th in our shop and 5th of 5 axis.
Which options you guys would suggest.
Thanks.

Beer & Babes.... ?

orange Vices and shrink fit tool holders of all sizes are the best bet. buy all the tool holding solutions you think you need now. 5th axis vices etc, it all depends what is going through the machine and if it will produce many or just one part.

Thanks for everybody.
The best advice was about chicks and beer, the problem is my boss.
I don't think he will allow me to invest this money this way.
Actually I got decision to buy more Zero Point Systems form Lang
and postpone with Tool Setter and Shrinking Machine.
I'm just programmer in our shop and it would be easier to much to manage
standard workholding and to create new ones every time.
I will let my operators suffer with checking runout using indicator for now. :)

That many machines? You NEED a presetter with an optical comparitor screen. You are making payments on it, you just don't have it.
