    What's the average pay for that Machine Shop and tool crib manager ? ( an expd machinist makes about $25 )
    Been reading a lot and i see wages between $35/$45 hourly.
    You will not be paid hourly as a manager. Expect an offer of an "exempt" salary. You will be exempt from overtime. However, the range should start in that $70K range. If you've never been a manager you should expect a commensurate range. You will quickly find that dealing with people and their issues is much more stress than dealing with tolerances on drawings. I have been on both sides. Best of luck to you.

    Regardless of pay the fact that you have hesitations and the worries tells all.
    Do not do it, it is not the job for you. You may make some more cash but you will not be happy.
