I went to a machinery sale over the weekend for a single piece of equipment I needed.
As chance had it I looked around and saw a very nice liquids fire cabinet which I bought at a good price.
Not sexy but I have needed one in the shop and saved $1300
These things are easy to miss as they are overshadowed by the tooling but important for a shop.
In this case even the sellers hadn’t gotten to it yet.
So my gloat for the day- 60 gallon fire cabinet with self closing doors.
I can toss the old school locker I have been fighting with..

Yes and check the drawers of Lista cabinets. A friend of mine got a pristine one with about 20 drawers, every one brimming with NOS Vallorbe files. And he uses files a lot.

I thought you were going to say you thought you scored a killer deal on a pristine looking machine you bought at an auction where the machines are not plugged in only to get it home and find all the electronics in the control cabinet had been taken out.

I demand that this thread be closed and deleted immediately.... This will cause way to much competition for me when I'm at auctions... We need topics like don't buy anything used. [emoji41]
