Rubber forming/moulding process/equipment???
Not sure if this is the spot to post this. Let me know
I’m looking to get into small batch manufacturing of rubber components.
Nothing crazy. Common parts are about the size/thickness of a hockey puck.
One big ring 1.5” cross section 12” od.
Not sure if this would be “forming” or “moulding”
I honestly have no clue about any of this but would like to educate myself and make my Parts in house.
Looking on “where to start” advice.
Who do I source raw buna rubber material from.
Where to look for a hot press that will have good process support?
