Naw, it got very vulgar. Charles appropriately cleaned it up.

    Hello SND,
After considering your suggestion, I decided that it would not be a good idea. I cannot see why any experienced businessman would expose their business in such a way.

I'm now rethinking the idea of having a company website at all, my product site will stay, but as I have said earlier; I have not solicited business for over 10 years.

You might want to go back and delete some of your original posts. I couldn't figure out why guys kept making power hacksaw and shaper references, so I looked at your first posts. Doxing yourself and then insulting people isn't a great idea.

    Here way go again,

    Lott,
Stick to your day job Lott. Focus on your own business, I'm not going to be lectured by a fool that pushes buttons.

Umm... you came to this forum advertising your vise jaws. That's soliciting business. And anyone who bought your jaws is your customer, but I digress...

And another thing I noticed- it was Wheelieking who encouraged you to participate! We're looking at you, Bill!

If there's a PM award for creating the most entertaining content I would like to formally nominate Mr King.

    Hello Lott,
I'm glad you mentioned this Lott, my jaws are called ViseCleats. They are not very popular, but for every customer that buys 1 set, eventually they buy several more.

I only have time for my main customer, and second, my ViseCleats.

    thank you Lott,
no bullshit, I'll give you a 20% discount for helping me solicit.

You're welcome. I'd take you up on it if they were carve smart compatible, we jump back and forth between talon grip, hard jaws, and soft jaws and like the speed of the carve smart style.

Ok MG, we'll give your thread back now.

    Your Right Lott,
let's not intrude any further within MG's subject. Meanwhile, you now know how to contact. We can discuss details, preferably late this week.

Read this:I've been camscanned - all posts deleted...

And this: OT Camscanning- I want to know!!!!

He got ban happy and wiped out barbter along with all 4000 of his posts. This was just after camscan had received the same treatment.

Don banned him for keeps. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

ETA: To save you time if you don't want to read the whole thread.

Consultant changed some settings that will not allow moderators to do this in the future – it will just be a ban (and not a removal, or deletion).

Gordon will be banned forever once I get around to it.

    G91 power leads to corruption.

Just think if he had G90 power!

    edit:

I just don't understand how he would have been able to delete posts?
Other than one at a time - and only on his board.
"Banning" shouldn't have deleted his posts.

Gordon found a way to do it. He used the "Spam-o-matic" tool that allows a mod to ban a user and delete all his posts. (See Don's post in the above link.)

It was malicious intent. There was no accident, according to Don.

You could say it backfired badly.........

I didn't see that post, but I've never used that feature either - since I didn't know what it did for sure.

He may have wanted to just delete the one post and ended up getting way more than he bargained for.

    ???

Among us generally civilized folks, it can be hard to remember, that a small but real part of humanity do at least sometimes really have ill intent.
