Is this your first rodeo? ....New territory to you?
Why, why,.. do I have to do the 3 leg 5?
What has her bent? Why is this person giving you a hard time?
How do you make life easier for both sides?

Do not start e-mailing everyone in the world
. This only works when you have the power to remove this person from their job and that is a long limb to walk out on.
This is terrible advice, you become the new whining little bitch for people who do not have the time, inclination, or need for a new problem.
She is not being a bitch or rough for no reason. Get a hold on that reason and solve it.

Document everything and when she is out of control talk to the big boss. Explain that if this continues SHE will cost the big boss and the company will lose money. Money talks so make it clear she is costing the company money.

Very good advise if you can. Some people are just plain mean and miserable and you will never know why, sometimes they don't know why themselves. You just happen to be in their sights, lucky you. You can control how you interact with them, you can't control that they had a crappy childhood, have/had a partner who abuses them or a close relative with a serious illness etc. Some people have a personality disorder and some do become bosses.

If you can't find some common ground then you need a friendly ear higher up who can can carefully tone things down. Sometimes this backfires and they just find other ways to make your life miserable.

    Good luck,

    Dave
