I have a mazak cnc lathe an sqt 15m2 and I want to change my 3jaw chuck for a collet chuck, I have one but took It apart because It was almost stuck
But now do I have to put some chuck grease In there or oil, what kind of oil? the same as the linear ways?
It looks like there Is and oil or grease groove or something In the middle.
I have a ksf 40/6 ortlieb collet chuck. It Is an older one.
Pls help me.
maybe someone has another smart way to hold 10mm round bar and 8mm.

Edit: I know what grease to use, now some other questions: do we need to tighten the lock screw.
tighten the big nut. and can you only tighten the lock screw every rotation of the big nut??

tighten the big nut. and can you only tighten the lock screw every rotation of the big nut??
