Where can I find a "Take Pride in Your Work" poster?

I would like to have a motivational poster that shows a machinist admiring a well-made part that he has just finished and has the slogan "Take pride in your work."

Anybody know of such a poster? If it had a vintage look, that would be desirable.

Can you teach that to an adult?

Keep us posted after you post your poster, I am interested.

It's missing a stereotypical Russian face, after the massive hack they've been running on our IT/Intelligence networks.

Eh, just Photoshop a bottle of vodka into the poster, that'll work fine...

OP, you having issues with your guys? A poster isn't going to straighten them out if they don't care, something more radical may be needed. Caning, electroshock, or watching a drumpf speech on endless loop should work...

We had a lot of those where I used to work. I don't know where they purchased them.

Despair.com has the classic motivational posters re-spun as de-motivational posters. They'll make you smile, but aren't what you want. One of my favorites:

1. There are actually some awesome WWII and Cold War posters out there. Try doing a Google image search and narrowing by resolution - like 1920x1280 or bigger. I get these printed full-color at Kinko's on 11x17 paper for about $1.29/each when I want to change up the decor. Frames are cheap at Walmart.

2. Failing that, I am a fan of this company's products:
Collections - Despair, Inc.

Why not create it?

There are tons of graphics programs that can take a photo, apply effects such as sepia tone or posterization, and then add the desired text. After that, have a print shop run some off on heavy stock.

Easy peasy in the age of computers.

EDIT: I found this site that offers some help in getting started.

Here is where you might find that royalty free old-timey machinist image.

Did you want one with said Kewpie doll on it too? Some of those old CCCP posters are interesting. Some people collect them.

Maybe old school work posters during the high point in American manufacturing like the WW2 era might be cool. I did not really think you might like the old CCCP styled ones anyway. They are interesting to study though especially since they could never produce enough food to feed themselves.

I have found that pride in ones work ethic and quality is a personal issue needing direct communication to transmit through even stubborn young minds. One on one face to face by example. A sign will support that once engrained into the workers not as a primary change thing.

By CCCP he meant the USSR. You confused that with the Chinese Communist Party.

The Russians never had a one-child policy. It is true though that they could never feed their populace, despite abundant fertile agricultural land.

“ What is the difference between USSR and CCCP?
The definition of CCCP is as the abbreviation for the full name of the Soviet Union in Russian (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics). ... USSR; Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.”

No confusion.

There is this.
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
Image result for cccp what does it mean?
СССР (Союз Советских Социалистических Республик) is a Russian abbreviation for the Soviet Union or Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). CCCP may also refer to: C.C.C.P. (band), a German synthpop group.

Though CCCP looks to westerners like "See See See Pee" I'm told that Russians pronounce it "Ess Ess Ess Air" because it's in the Cyrillic alphabet.

Facts........Who needs them?

Dammit!

One can make your own and get it printed at Office-whateer.
The WW2 stuff is "campy" old shit and no one will give it a second thought let alone care. They will think it cute but not consider the message.
If you do your own it should not be someone in your shop or a part made there. You do not want in house favorites.
More the holly shit that is impressive work type thing be it very old or new.
I used to buy these posters a lot and I do not think they had much of an effect.
Once I heard something good and it was customers at the Christmas party and not ever from the employees who saw all this as propaganda from the front office.

When the front office is populated by money men and pencil necks, then it is propaganda.

When the front office is occupied by a machinist who makes better parts than any other man in the shop, then it is philosophy.
