Some shop help for the small and larger jobs.
My new grinder caddy with five stations and each grinder has its own retractable cord reel.
I made two and the second one is showing the bare stand prior to completion. Looking quite good in front of my new Forster Welding Table.
Simply the best table ever made! (grin)

Kind of hard to see the detail but these are rotary molds for cookies. Done on a Haas VF5 with a 4th axis, each roll takes about 8-10 hours to machine.

This isn't a CNC project..just old fashioned handle turning and sketches on wet bar napkins, but it is a project none the less! Not finished yet and not skinned with sheet-metal, but it's a bar crusher for Rosewood bars for a customer that manufactures Xylophones. Mashes the bar cell structure about .025 to impart a super hard, dent free surface to the bars so the mallets won't leave divots.

Yeah, the rolls in the first pictures are. I had to make 6 rolls over this Labour Day long weekend so my customer could start production asap. Some office genius' managed to forget to order these rolls for an almost 21 million cookie order from Walmart I'm pretty sure they'll end up in the US as well, you might just see them in October.

The second picture are cookies for St Patricks Day.

Past month involved a lot of 1 off stuff and a few nightmares that made no $ but finally getting back into somewhat more normal repeat work. Still waiting/hoping that annual rush to Christmas will come but its not looking like it yet, only 2 weeks left on the books if I pace myself, and another nightmare coming up. More time to hunt and fish until then.

I'm not into any mechanical or electrical project these days but I would love to see some of others' projects and get inspired with their works.
