Bore indicator rods

Hi, where do you guys get your bore indicating rods for centering a barrel in a lathe or do you make your own?

Also, what type of reamer holder do you use?

Call these guys. Deltronic Pins Their gauge pins are about the best you can find for this purpose. They do not generally sell directly/retail but will refer you to a distributor.

My floating reamer holder is the one sold by JGS, the reamer makers. There are a number of others as good or better available.

You can get the Deltronic pins from www.crescentgage.com in Rowlett, Tex. You can get a bore indicator rod from Dave Kiff at Pacific Precision the reamer maker. They use the bushings that go on your reamer. Butch

I get my indicator rods from Greg Tannel at GTR Tooling. They also have changeable bushings. I also use Greg's reamer holder.
