Ok, I have something more pertinent of whats going on here to ask. Always wanted to work on a net gun. Was thinking a good way to start while keeping it simple would be to use a barrel and air valve to shoot the net. Then focus on creating different capsules for the net to extend range, maybe run a wire to control the release of the shell. And is this kind of project ok in CA?

I suggest that you make the net gun to FIRE BACKWARDS,and to also contain needles full of a strong sleep inducing chemical,like they shoot into large animals to capture them!!!
