Interested in getting a Metric transposing gear set.
But...I have a question.
I understand the stock transposing gear was 127/100. Gear cover door would not close?
I also see that many 47/37 transposing gears are available.
Why is the 80/63 combination not mentioned or apparently not as popular?
It appears to be "closer" to the 127/100 ratio than the 47/37 Transposing gear set.
Also the "80T" is the same size as the existing SB 9/10K 80T gear. Seems like a proper fit?

Thanks!

Yes, the 63/80 is my preferred technique. It has the advantage of only requiring one gear on most SB lathes. The 47/37 sets you see on Ebay are just because they are smaller, so faster to 3-d print.
