13" SB Lathe with Cabinet?

Has anyone ever seen a 13" SB lathe with a cabinet instead of a cast base and leg? I talked to a guy that says he has one, but I am wondering if it might actually be a smaller lathe. He said it is a 1952 13" model.

I seriously doubt it exists, I have a large collection of South Bend literature from 1940's on, and never saw anything but a cast leg 13". The later 14 was based on a 13, a few similar parts on a sheet metal base, but it looks nothing like a 13" and was built in the 70's.

I guess someone could take a 13 and remove the cast legs and drive and mount it on a newer sheet metal base. It would be interesting to see a photo of the one you are referring to.
