    Default 16" SB tailsock adapter base to use on an H10

    is there such a thing out there?

    the base is 6.3mm +- to high It would be difficult for me to do it as it would have to be so precise

    If there was would it not still be 3" too tall?

    no, the difference between the H10 and the other tailstock is only 6.3mm

    as Mr. Oder noted theres a huge diff there.

    you must not be looking at a 16" tailstock.

    i question if it would even sit on a 10" bed without overhanging the edges much less the height diff.

    never thought it might not be from a 16

    the one I've using is regular. the other is a hand lever tailstock. I've obviously am wrong

    They did make such things (HLTS) for the "Heavy 9" (similar bed features to later H10) back in the day (early to mid thirties), but they would have been 7/16" lower compared to Heavy 10

    (H9 was 9 1/4 swing and H10 is 10 1/8" swing)

    Conversely, if it were for a 11" it would be too high by 9/16" on a H10 - but I have no idea if a 11" bed is much like a H9 or H10 bed
