Default 1951 Southbend 9 inch lathe

I have acquired a 1951 9 inch Southbend lathe. I would like to find a parts manual for it. I would also like to add a rocker tool post but can't find measurements on current websites so I can be sure I'm buying the right post. I still work full time so it's been a slow process cleaning it up and getting it running. Any good recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Get yourself a copy of "How To Run a Lathe" by South Bend. At the end, there are dimensions for tooling for the different lathes.

Why a rocker tool post? I think you should know how to use one because sometimes its the best way to reach in somewhere, but for everyday work, frankly, they suck. If do not want to shell out $$ for a qctp, get a 4 sided tool post.

I agree that a rocker tool post pretty much sucks. A very serviceable QCTP can be had for ~$150US. I have a rocker for my H10, but I have never used it. But, if the OP wants to use one, I won't stand in his way.
