Hello all,
Recently acquired a 1952 South Bend Model 9a Lathe in fairly good condition. I'm primarily a woodworker, but have gotten deeper into metal working after a home-brew DIY CNC project I completed earlier this year. I brought the unit home this past weekend and cleared a bench for it in the shop.
I have ordered the repair manual and felt / oil kit from the kind seller on eBay and have also received the serial card from Grizzly. Can someone help me decode the serial card? I would love to know all there is to know about my machine. I'm hoping their are some serial-card-whisperers out there who can lend a hand.
Thanks!
Evan
