    Default 9" Model B refurbished

    So it's been a while since I posted in this thread seeking some advice on motor wiring (Model 9B motor & switch wiring). I've had some delays, including building a table for the lathe, but I've finally completed. Here are some pics and a 40 second video of making some aluminum shavings. Hope you enjoy!

    Nice. I don't see any shims under the feet. How did you square the bed?

    I've not yet done all of the alignment things like shimming the feet or the tailstock yet. Next weekend probably, after I manage to borrow a machinist's level from a friend. Thanks.
