I'm trying to help a guy out here: There's an estate in Wesport, CT that's been sold and the caretaker is being forced to move. He has to unload nearly all of the tools he's hoarded and one of them is this 9A. There's two catches: It's in a basement whose only access is a large, masonry, spiral staircase meaning getting it out will require disassembly. The other is that it needs to go away in a hurry.

I was going to lowball him, but since he's struggling financially and I don't need another lathe I'd rather help him get a fair price. I didn't look at it carefully so you'll need to see it in person for that info.

I don't but if you text me I'll put you in touch with the guy who has it. I talked to him today and was surprised to hear they got it out of the basement. If you decide you want it you can pull your truck up to it and drive away.

Can I ask what town? There was also another I looked at that was in a basement over here and the dude was asking an absurd amount for it.

It's in Westport. I doubt it's the same one. Just curious, what was he asking?
