Aloris 200 Toolpost on a heavy 10

I have the opportunity to put a genuine Aloris 200 toolpost on my Heavy 10 vs the phase1 100 series I have now.

Does anyone use an Aloris 200 on a heavy 10 now? is it going to be too big? Should i stick with the Phase1?

OK, i must be getting old... se what happens when you go from memory.

Should have read:

Does anyone use an Aloris BXA on a heavy 10 now? is it going to be too big? Should i stick with the PhaseII?

BXA will be fine, had a CA series on our heavy 10 for a couple years with good results, gives you more tool size space in the blocks too. Moved up to American pacemakers a few years back so the post got swapped.

You don't need to guess. Look up which ever tool post and its corresponding #1 tool holder. The dimensions for both are in the pics. Measure top of compound to spindle centerline to see if holder will be in adjustment range.
