I wanted to share my experience with AXA tooling I bought from Curtis Payne at latheinserts.com for my SB Heavy 10. My purchases from Curtis included turning tooling and a boring bar. The inserts are very durable and provide a very good finish on steel and aluminum. I recently purchased BXA tooling for my Clausing 12 inch lathe from Curtis. He is friendly and knows the products he sells. I have no affiliation with Curtis or his business but am a satisfied customer.
