I just finished restoring a 9" SB and was trying to setup to cut some threads but the diagram does not make sense or work. Fig.2 shows the 80t connecting the spur gear and the screw gear but that is impossible as they do not line up. They are not on the same plane.... I have literally found zero explanation on setting up change gears online. I cant be the only one with this issue. As I can tell you have to use all three of the change gears, u cant just use 2 as Fig. 2 suggests. Im trying to setup for 24 or 26tpi.

no difference between model B or C when it comes to threads, only the feeds are different as the model C has no apron reductions.
I know pics can sometimes be a problem, if you can answer one question 99% sure the issue can be diagnosed even without pics.
