Collet for 11" Southbend?

Does anyone know the proper collets for an 11" Southbend lathe? I've seen posts in various places with 2S, 3C and 5C. Bill

Hold on - a true pre-war 11" used 2S, not 3C.

Collets for the more modern lathes:

5C - for 10" (10L), 13" & 16"
2A - for 10" (10R)
6K - for 10" (10K)
3C - for 9"

There was a 13" with a smaller spindle hole (like the 10R)
that used the 2A collets.

I have an 11" SB from 1926. It uses 2a collets. There are currently some collets on Ebay, but they are not easy to come by ($$$$) and you will most likely need to make your own adapter and drawbar (that's what I plan to do), so using 3c collets is the way I am going. They are readily available at considerably less cost. The only hindrance to using 3c collets is that they don't go past 1/2" (I believe).

Thanks everyone. My 11" is a 1929, and so it looks like the originals would be 2S.
