Current recommended modern oils for South Bend model A

Could someone who has successfully used the modern oils on their South Bend Model A tell me the modern equivalents of the A,B,C,and D oils.
The original recommended oils are just to hard to find and expensive plus shipping.
With all the new technology in oils I should think some should be even better than oils that were used over seventy years ago.

The stickys are a wealth of knowledge: South Bend Recommended Lubricants Most of the lubricants listed are fairly easy to find, although not in smaller than 1 gallon sizes sometimes. Hope this helps. Jim

With something like model A or O spindle bearings, I'd probably use DTE light or ATF for spindle bearings. And DTE heavy/medium on everything else, using two oils instead of four.

I use Mobil Velocite #10 for the spindle. Mobil DTE Heavy medium for everything else. And Mobil Vactra #2 for the ways. The way I learned it, these are all modern equivalents to the original South Bend oils. Mobil probably improved the oil a bit in the last 70 yrs.
