    Hi folks,
Anybody know what the thread in the cross slide hole is for the threading stop screw? (Which I don’t have)
    Thanks

Thanks, unfortunately I have just moved halfway across the US and dumped a lot of heavy stuff.....now of course I am rethinking what I did with that junk drawer. Oh well, if it is a normal size thread maybe I can “steal” some bolts from other things to measure with then make up something to use.

Can you post a photo of the hole in question? I'm not sure which one you mean.

That threaded hole is 1/4 - 20 on my late '40's 9A. Would think that would be typical of others.
    (it's also 1/4 - 20 on my late '60's "Heavy 10")
