I am trying to remove the tube from my heavy 10 5C drawbar. The manual shows two pins need to be removed. However, they are/were in what look(ed) like blind holes. The bearing assembly has holes but they don't go through the tube. I drilled out what should have been the pins and even went through the tube in both places. I opened the holes up to 5/16 and don't feel I should have to go any larger. I made a puller and tried to put quite a bit of pressure on it to pull off the bearing assembly. It didn't budge. I am afraid of using heat because there is a bearing inside. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
