Help ID"ing turret tool post

I have a 1942 South Bend 2H turret lathe. The design of your tool post is very similar. Not sure if South Bend made their own or not, but fairly sure mine was original to the machine.
Note the 4th pic in this post. Its from a South Bend pub, and is my tool post:
South Bend No. 2-H Turret Lathe 16"x6' Restoration
Maybe yours also came from a turret lathe, or was added as an accessory.
I have seen this style elsewhere though. So I think not South Bend exclusive. Maybe just a common design of the era.
