    Lightbulb How To

    Hello All
In need of an idea on how to machine 2 EA. tapered flat washers.
Do not have three phase power yet to 1913 so bend lathe or my vertical mill, only lathe I have is not allowed to be mentioned on this forum.
Description of what I need is looking down on the part a round washer 5.500 in. OD Inside dia of 2.500.
Side view will be one side with a thickness of approx. .300 tapering to approx .060 on the other side. Opposite of tapered side to be flat

Any thoughts and or suggestions greatly welcomed and Thank you
    In advance

Maybe a taper piece attached to face plate (your angle is 2 1/2 degrees) and straps for inside and then out side of washer - removing and reapplying straps as facing off proceeds

A round permanent magnetic chuck on a sine plate on your face plate. Light cuts will be the order of the day.
