Default Looking to identify a lathe number

I have a couple of pieces of equipment which came from a defense contractor along the gulf coast. They regularly replace equipment especially after a hurricane brings tidal surge on shore. The friend I got them from passed recently so any other information passed with him. One a Jet Mill/Drill and a 1987 South Bend 10k. The number in question is on the opposite side of the Serial # and is also on the tail stock end. It is DB301KG.

that is a unit code number, and is only part of the whole picture.
if you really want the scoop, post a pic of the whole machine, and include the catalog number off the gearbox plate, and also the serial number from the tail end.(pretty much directly across from the unit code number, between the front set of ways)
