More mystery tools

I've seen something like the first photo before, but it escapes my memory.

The second photo is of an endmill with a threaded shank for a Clarkson holder. More common in the UK than the US. Dunno about Canada.

#2 is a cutter with a shank to fit the Clarkson Autolock chuck, a good set up popular over in England.
#1 is an unknown; is that a slot in the side of the spindle? It reminds me of a tool for putting a chamfer in the back end of a hole. Those things have a blade that retracts to insert the tool and then it is pulled back and cuts the chamfer, used on parts a machine can't get to.
