Default My first South Bend lathe, 11” 27-B

Hi everyone I just picked this 27-B up over the weekend and have been cleaning it up the last few days and doing some research on it. Still looking for more info on it though as it’s been hard to find much for the older lathes. The prev owner put a nice 3 jaw chuck on it as well as a newer 1hp Baldor motor, it also came with an 8” Craftsman 4 jaw, steady rest, faceplate and some of the gears. Does anyone know for sure if other model gears will fit this one as well? I’m hoping to find all the gears I will need to make a full set.

The one with the star - you loosen - move vertically to select - tighten
