Just purchased my first lathe. I am not a machinist. But i know a few to help me out. I found a serial number, lathe looks to of had a coat of paint on it so i tried looking for the cast number i seen in a video. The face of the head stock chuck to the chuck face in tail stock is 5 feet. The center of chuck to the top of rail is about 7.50 inches. Its a 1/2hp 110v. I want to restore it and get it dialed in. Also need a half nut. There was only 1 on the screw that i found stuck to it and not in the holder. Any help would be appreciated thanks.. have pictures just trying to figure out how to load them. Rookie.

when you measure your bed do it from end to end...thats how SB did it on most of their lathes.
