I need to replace the motor on my 1968 Vintage SB Heavy 10.
I have searched the forum for possible replacements but have not found the answer I am looking for.
The motor that was on the lathe that I believe was original is a Marathon 1-1/2 HP 110/220 volt motor. I contacted Marathon and the part number does not register with their current catalog. I would like to replace it with a similar motor. The lathe is being powered by 220 volts. I do not have any interest in VFD. I am running a single pulley off the motor which is rated at 1730 RPM.
I appreciate your thoughts and comments.
