NEED OPINION! Southbend 18x10' Automatic feed Model 94G

Good afternoon.

I'm looking for some help here about a lathe a few hours from me.

I'm not familiar with this particular model although it starts showing up in a 1932 South Bend cataloug.

It's an 18" swing, 10' bed with automatic feed and quick-change gear box. It has 5 or 6 holders and a boring bar.

Asking price is $2500.

The owner says there is some wear right in front of the headstock, but everything "works smoothly."

Anyone familiar with this model who could offer any insight on whether its worth considering?
