Does anyone have a used 9 or 10k cross feed screw I can beg borrow or purchase?
I have purchased a cross feed screw repair kit and I need a substitute screw while I mill the replacement acme insert, since I have just the one lathe.
Last year I purchased and refurbed a nice 10K built in about 1963.
So far I have made a counter shaft for the drive unit, replaced the small spur gear on the back gear shaft, made an improved draw rod for my milling machine, a replacement spindle for my drum sander, and various shafts and small axles.I had no idea I would be using the lathe so much.
