I finally broke down and bought a South bend model 9A. The machine is in great working order and came with lots of tooling. This is an upgrade from a “mini lathe” from a place I dare not mention! This will primarily be used for turning acrylics and various soft metals. I figured I would get a lathe that can easily be fixed and have parts available versus some of the Chinese counterparts. I will be tearing this thing apart and giving it a thourough cleaning as well as a small rebuild. It did come with some attachments I am not familiar with. I’m sure someone on here will be able to assist!
