Default New member with new lathe

Hello there everyone, I am a new member and have just purchased a new to me 11 inch South Bend lathe dated 1922. I will post before pictures and after pictures. I decided not to go with black, original color, because it makes it difficult to see things like leaking oil etc. It was $250 and all the supplies shown. I am however missing a thread counter. Is anyone aware of what I can use as a replacement part? Thank you in advance.

As you can see I had to sort through a lot of old rusty things. Most of it is cleaned out and sorted at this point. I will post after pictures once everything is done.

    Cool Rescue Syndrome

Agree; that's quite a project and a very old lathe. Good thing the old girl found you!
Old iron "rescue syndrome"...a dreaded disease!
    (Yes, more close-up pics please)
