Being new to this forum , I had posted a few pics and requested info on a lathe that had been in a welding shop for years. Funny how when it belongs to your dad you dont think much about the age or model , but when it becomes yours you are more interested.
I want to say a Thank You to Iwannanew10 K and Thank You to SWells. Both of these guys went above and beyond in helping to identify a vintage lathe.
Many years of dirt and grease to be removed, then rebuilt and painted.
Will continue trying to bring back a readable serial number. Any other suggestions as where to look for other casting numbers are greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all for all the information that is posted here, makes for great reading on cold winter nights.
