I recently purchased a 9" Mod A Tool Room SBL & a 13" SBL. Can anybody tell me what the Headstock & Tailstock Tapers are for both machines. Thanks

im making a few assumptions here because you dont give specific model or catalog numbers.
9"- MT3 spindle and MT2 tailstock...(SB lists the spindle as MT2 WITH a reducer)
13"- murky as depending a small and large bore spindle was available depending on year.......small bore spindles were MT4 (again SB almost always listed the spindles with a reducer) large bore spindles were a proprietary taper based on the taper of MT3 but were physically about the size of MT5- tailstocks were MT3
would advise providing more info and or pics
