Quick Change Levers

There is a pin that holds the knurled knob to the index pin.

If I may, I'd suggest you not pop this apart. Use tape to 'jam' the selector pin in the back position. Paint & remove tape to return the selector pin to the normal position. You will never know the difference.

Dis-assembling the QCGB Tumbler Knob

Hi Scott,

Here is a picture that answers your question. The pin ends are typically very hard to find because SB ground the ends of the pin flush with the diameter of the knob. Use high power magnification, hit it with a Sharpie and then smack it with a good, clean pin punch.

Please let us know your progress.

Another photo that may help. The photo is a lead screw reverse lever, but it's the exact same system with the pin that they use on the gear box shift levers.

They're simple to take apart and reassemble once you find the pin!!
