I've got a line on what looks to be about a 14" SB. Cat. number is CLC 145C.

Can't see the Ser. No. in the pics.

From the above nos.: threaded spindle nose (looks like camlock, so might have got a new spindle at some point(?), and 6' bed.

But what does 145 indicate? I can't find that no. listed in the SB cat pages so far.

From the pics, I can't tell the swing. I'm guessing 14"?

It looks like a great deal. Just hoping the guy gets back to me in time, and I'm first. Wish me luck!

That motor base is pretty distinctive, its either a 13" or the bigger 10", which I think is a heavy 10.

14.5 and 16" have a wider motor base.

Taper attachment and chip pan are a plus.

Thanks guys. Price is $600, which is super low around here - -usually they're asking 2-3 grand. Problem is I'd have to partially (or more than) disassemble to get it in the back of my SUV (maybe even multiple trips, though it's 50 miles away). I've got a new trailer hitch coming today, but that's too late. I guess at the price I could afford to rent a truck...
I'm tempted to race over and put down the cash and figure it out after. Is a reasonably quick disassembly possible (single-handed) with this size SB? I've only got experience w/ my 9A, and I'd guess this is probably twice the weight, at least.

-thanks

$600 is a no brainer. I'd straight up pay for it. Take a critical part off, and take it home with you, to discourage any tempting higher offers. Like taper attachment, and compound :D. Tailstock etc.

Yep, that was/is my plan. But I just called the guy (8am) and there's already two guys ahead of me. Slim chance both will no-show, and I can't see either turning it down. But, knockin on wood...
