Refurbishing Cross slide screw on south bend heavy 10.

Can anyone point me to a thread or site where someone has documented a repair/refurbishment of a cross slide screw for a south bend heavy 10 without taper attachment? I have tried to search but am afraid that I am just not "looking in the right places" or right way.

I currently have one good screw that is missing the splined crossfeed gear and I have a worn screw that has the gear. I would like to make one good one out of both.

There is a man that machines brand new screw shaft and T-nuts for that machine. I bought one last year and simply installed it. I was wanting to increase the accuracy of my Heavy Ten and figured that messing around with a Frankenstein part was not the best way to achieve that goal.

The price was not that much and if you would like I can try to find his number.

The only thing I need now is a new thrust bearing to achieve a rock solid cross feed :) Mine current bearing is making a clicking sound. Anyone know a source for that bearing?
