Finally got around to ordering a new repro nameplate for the machine, and I did such a good job of securing the original drive screws when I removed them for the rebuild two years ago I can't find them...

I don't have gauge pins that small...what size is needed?

Thanks in advance.

Drive screw (sometimes called drive rivets) come in standard numbered sizes that are reasonably far apart for identification purposes.

Without pin gages, you can probably ID the size using a drill bit. Find the number or letter drill that fits and compare to the pilot diameter.

Drive screw specs are available online at many manufacturer website or in Machinery’s Handbook.

Example: Drive Screws | U-Drive Screws | Hammer Drive Screws | Jay-Cee Sales & Rivet, Inc.

Amazon sells them in addition to distributors like McMaster-Carr and MSC.

Look at these and see if they'll work. At a recent auction I wound up with a couple thousand
pounds of baged bolts, nuts, washers, pins, etc. If you or anyone else wants some, pm me and
I'll send you an address you can send a self addressed, stamped envelope.
