Vintage South Bend attachments For Older Experienced Machinists

In the process of closing a welding and machine shop I found a wooden box , inside is tooling listed as a crank pin turning tool or accessory for a south bend lathe. The lathe that was in the shop has been identified as a 1914 Model 37E.
I will attempt to enclose pictures. If any one has a idea as to how it was used, and or has a use, or wants it please let me know.

Its where the term "Turn a Crank" came from (even though its being done in a crank grinder). Crankshaft between centers - this gizmo used to sort of make journals roundish again

Since the whole length of the journal was being done with what amounted to a form tool - you could get the corner radii just so

What passed for automobile engine repair 100 years ago

The really really old car folks likely would like to have this contraption - it was part and parcel of the reBabbitted rod era
