    Default South Bend G-26T

Hi all, Just a couple questions concerning this lathe. I can't find a manual anywhere on the web. Is there anyone who knows the secret to finding one? Also, is it worthwhile replacing my later model heavy ten with the G-26T. I have a 9A and a 16 along with the 10. What are your thoughts. Space is not an issue.

    Thanks
    Buggsy

To be certain here, you do mean the 13 inch gear head made in Taiwan lathe, the South Bend G26-T: South Bend G-26-T lathe ?

And not the G26, a 10 inch lathe made for South Bend by Hercus in Australia which at one point (or another) filled in for the made-in-South Bend Heavy 10.

I'd replace a 10 with one (subject to condition) for one in a heartbeat.
Only ever seen one on the market, and it didn't last long.
Very uncommon, not easy to "find one", reputation as a solid, well made machine.
