I own a Caring Transitions franchise, which helps Seniors and/or Heirs dispose of property throughout the U.S. I have a South Bend Lathe, Catalog 394-G, with a 10-foot bed for sale, but can't find a serial number. See photos. Please let me know where I can look. Thanks.

Its an 18" Series O from about 1934. Catalog weight is 3340 Lbs.
Thanks to Mr. Wells for the scan

Serial on my Series O was right end on top stamped into machined cast iron in between two front ways - five digits. Post #12 here has a photo of the serial area on another Series O - you can see it is near the pair of screws holding up the lead screw bracket.
