South Bend Lathe Gear

the only SB that uses 20DP i know of is the 9`s and 10K`s - and only on the spindle and reverser gears.
starting at the stud gear the train changes to 18DP

not sure about the 13", but the tooth count + 2 divided by the outside diameter will give you the DP

ie- 42 tooth gear with a diameter of 2.750" would be - T+2=44/2.750" = 16DP

Is it a single tumbler gearbox or double? I think it is 16 or 14 DP depending. All older SBs would be 14.5 PA. You really need to measure what you have, especially since you have not told us which gear it is you are looking for.
