South bend motor mounting plate.....

Replacing motor in my SB 14.5 The plate the motor mounts to, piviots on a pin on the back of the plate. I have been unsucessful in removing this pin. It will rotate 10-15 deg and stop. There is nothing visable that would cause this. Anyone had one out before, that could enlighten me?

There is a set-screw in the back of the cradle or plate which captures the shaft. Have you removed it?

I can't see a set screw, I will degrease a bit and look again. Unfortunately I have a broken wrist, and I am single handedly changing this motor, while I have a one off job in the chuck. I appreciate your reply and will update with my findings.

Got it.
Set screw on back. Couldnt even feel it until removing a bunch of built up ....stuff.
