I should buy a lottery ticket - swapped a motor for a steadyrest for my SB9

Went to pick up a few more parts (compound screw and gear cover) from the guy I bought my wide 9 from and I spied the top part of a steadyrest casting on one of his benches. Dug around a bit and found the bottom half. I knew I had the clamp and bolt in my collection of bits (turns out I had everything else too) so I asked him if he'd be interested in trading it for a nice Dayton 1/2hp 3ph motor and fan I just picked up from an auction. I knew that I'd never be able to afford a steadyrest so figured it was worth a shot. The motor plus the fact that I already had the rest of the parts swayed the deal and now I have a steadyrest! Even better, the motor only cost me $10+fees. I think that's my luck used up for the month, if not longer!

test fit showed that it was perfectly centered so the center V way must be the same distance from centerline on the wide 9 and the workshop (A/B/C) nine.

how cool is that? I'm totally pumped!
