Hi guy I am new to this site. Currently looking at a 1946 southbend 13in. Has a 5ft bed 3 and 4 jaw chuck. Some tooling 2 steady rest. It only has a 1in through hole. I would really like the bigger through hole wondering if this would be able to be changed if finding the right parts.

The later 13" had the 1-3/8" thru hole. I don't think that you will be able to change the hole size short of getting an entirely new headstock. @SBLATHEMAN might be able to answer this swapability question.
